On Thursday, March 14, 2024, the Northeast Colorado Health Department Board of Health held a special meeting at 4PM to approve the signing of a new Public Health Order by Public Health Director Trish McClain. This PHO sets forth some requirements and guidance for entities that may temporarily shelter migrant persons within the NCHD health district, and restates the duties of the Northeast Colorado Health Department in overseeing public health. The Community Health Assessment includes both quantitative and qualitative data indicators and information related to the health of our communities. The Community Assessment was used to develop the Public Health Improvement Plan. This Public Health Improvement Plan will provide strategic direction toward the best public health services to the residents of northeast Colorado over the next five years.
