Colorado Heart Healthy Solutions (CHHS)  will now be offering screenings and retests to serve our participants both remotely and in-person.

 

If you are more comfortable staying in your home, we can conduct a screening/retest through a verbal questionnaire and health coaching session over the phone. If you are eager to also receive your cholesterol, glucose and blood pressure results, then you are welcome to visit our office located within your community. Our health coaching component can take place in the office or remotely if you’d like to limit your time in-person.

 

Our organization has put innovations in place during the pandemic to ensure your safety. When you come to a screening or retest visit here’s what you can expect:

  • Brief COVID-19 screening: We are screening all individuals for COVID symptoms before their visit over the phone and using a touchless thermometer to screen for fever before entering our office. Those with COVID-19 symptoms will be directed to appropriate health services.

  • Masking: All clients are expected to provide and wear their own mask or face covering such as a bandana during their visit, regardless of symptoms. Our health workers do the same to ensure mutual protection.

  • Safe health workers: Our team members use the proper safety gear to protect them and you to keep everyone healthy.

  • Cleaning and disinfecting: We thoroughly sanitize and disinfect our cholesterol testing, blood pressure, and other equipment between every client.

  • Hand sanitizing: Hand sanitizer will be provided as needed.

  • Staggered appointments: We are carefully managing our schedules to ensure great service, one at a time.

  • Physical distancing: While inside our facilities, we’ll help you practice physical distancing with markers, signage, and cues.
